Role Details

As an Underground Truck Operator, you'll play a key part in the safe and efficient haulage of ore and waste from underground workings to designated locations. You'll work as part of a supportive crew in a well‐structured mining environment with strong safety systems and experienced leadership.

This is a residential only position, based in Broken Hill.

n

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Safely operate underground haul trucks to transport ore and waste between production areas and tipping locations
n
- Complete pre‐start checks, monitor equipment condition, and report faults or hazards promptly
n
- Follow underground traffic rules, designated travel routes, and all site safety procedures
n
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and underground crews using radios and mine systems
n
- Support general underground activities such as maintaining road conditions and keeping work areas tidy
n

- Previous underground truck operating experience

- Exposure to underground mining environments

- Competency in operating Sandvik or similar underground haul trucks
