Graduate / Junior Accountant - Tax and Business Services

L Lau & Co is a well-established Chartered Accounting firm located in the Sydney CBD that provides clients with tailored taxation, accounting and structuring advice to assist them grow and manage their businesses and financial investments.

n

We are currently seeking a graduate/junior accountant whose main responsibilities will include assisting with the:

n

Preparation of financial statements, management accounts and income tax returns for a wide variety of clients and entities;

n

Preparation of Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements;

n

Liaising with the ATO;

n

Conducting and analysing research to assist prepare advice on technical issues; and

n





Performance of annual tax planning.

n

To be successful in the role you will possess the following skills and experiences:

n

An Australian business or accounting degree

n

A commitment to the delivery of high quality advice and work

n

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

n

Valuable phone manner

n

Be able to work independently and have valuable organisation skills to meet deadlines

n

Any previous tax and business services work experience and tax and accounting software knowledge is an advantage.
