Industrial Electrician

We're looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at TAS Electrical & Industrial Services.

n

If you're the type of electrician who enjoys fault finding, solving problems and working on a variety of industrial sites instead of staring at the same machine every shift, keep reading.

What you'll actually be doing

n

One week you could be troubleshooting a production line that's stopped at 2:00am.

n

The next you might be installing new conveyors, commissioning VSDs, upgrading PLC systems or helping deliver a major automation project.

n

Our work includes:

n

n
- Industrial breakdowns
n
- Preventative maintenance
n
- PLC fault finding (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron and others)
n
- VSD installation and commissioning
n
- Machine upgrades and automation projects
n
- New control panel installations
n
- Electrical installations across manufacturing facilities
n
- Working with some of Australia's largest manufacturers
n

n

No two weeks are the same.

n

We're looking for someone who:

n

n
- Is a qualified A-Grade Electrician
n
- Has industrial or manufacturing experience
n
- Can fault find rather than simply replace parts
n




- Takes pride in producing quality work
n
- Can communicate well with customers and teammates
n
- Works safely and professionally
n
- Wants to continue learning automation and control systems
n

n

PLC experience is highly regarded but if you've got strong industrial fault-finding skills and the right attitude, we'll help you develop the rest.
