Role summary

n

We are seeking a Truck Driver to join the Aubigny team, responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of company vehicles and for timely, compliant delivery of goods. The primary vehicle will be a Kenworth Prime Mover, with occasional operation of smaller vehicles.

n

Key responsibilities and essential requirements

n

n
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport various products and materials
n
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections and perform basic preventative maintenance where trained
n
- Plan and follow efficient and secure delivery routes to meet schedules
n
- Secure freight properly to prevent loss or damage
n




- Verify loading documentation and obtain delivery confirmations
n
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a minimum of 2 years' experience driving a prime mover
n
- Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle class; minimum requirement HC class licence
n
- Good understanding of and compliance with COR (Chain of Responsibility) and Transport Regulations
n
- Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of the role
n
- Predominantly local travel, with flexibility for interstate/overnight travel required
n
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
n
- Clear communication skills and ability to work well within a team
n
- Reliable, self-motivated, and deadline-focused
n
