Database Test Automation Engineer

Join a leading financial services technology team delivering database and ETL test automation across high-volume customer and personalisation platforms. You'll work closely with engineers to design, build, and maintain automated tests, helping move the team from manual processes to a robust, repeatable automation framework.

Responsibilities

- Lead database test automation, data validation, and ETL testing activities

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests using Python and SQL
n
- Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to improve test coverage and efficiency
n
- Support data platform and integration testing in cloud environments
n
- Help define and implement best practices for scalable automated testing
n

Essential Skills & Experience

- Hands-on coding experience in Python and SQL for automated database testing
n
- Robust ETL/database experience
n
- Experience designing automated test frameworks
n
- Comfortable working in high-volume, complex data environments
n
- Cloud experience is desirable but not essential
