We are seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Manager to join our growing team, supporting the successful delivery of renewable energy infrastructure projects across Australia.

n

As part of AEC's construction leadership team, this role will be responsible for overseeing the on-site delivery of major works across utility-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). You will manage teams, programs, and subcontractors while ensuring quality, safety and environmental compliance across our projects.

This is a key role requiring a strong background in construction management within the renewables or infrastructure sector. You will bring a passion for leading high-performing teams and delivering complex projects to a high standard — safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage construction site activities across renewable energy infrastructure projects
n
- Deliver projects in accordance with program, budget, safety and environmental objectives
n




- Supervise construction teams and subcontractors, providing clear direction and leadership
n
- Monitor progress, identify and mitigate project risks and implement corrective actions as needed
n
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure smooth coordination across disciplines
n
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, codes of practice, standards and company policies
n
- Promote a safety-first culture across all project activities
n
- Prepare and review reports, project schedules, forecasts and risk assessments
n

Skills and Experience Required:

n

n
- Extensive experience managing construction projects in the renewables, infrastructure, or civil sectors
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
n
- Sound knowledge of OH&S; and environmental legislation, as well as construction industry standards and practices
n
- Proven ability to develop, implement and manage construction programs
n
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage teams and contractors effectively
n
- Construction White Card and valid driver's licence
n
