We offer our clients high quality and environmentally sustainable products and a large variety of printing services including commercial offset printing, point of purchase displays, campaign management, digital printing, self-adhesive labels, packaging, warehousing, inventory management and national distribution.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Printer/Machine Operator to join a quick-paced manufacturing team within the Digital department.

n

About The Role

n

Reporting to the Digital Print Manager, we are looking for a full-time Printer/Machine Operator to join our Digital team, working 11.00pm to 7.00am shift, Monday to Friday.

- Operating Digital Print Machines – running jobs according to instructions and inn specification
n
- Set up machines efficiently, ensuring all settings align with job specifications and production standards.
n
- Setup and adjust machines, regulating factors such as speed, inkflow, focus and number of copies.
n
- Deliver completed work to Finishing department as required.
n
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to ensure proper operation.
n
- Maintain stock of supplies and request supplies as needed.
n
- Load and unload stock and finished goods safely and efficiently.
n
- Complete production records and quality assurance documentation accurately.
n
- Assist with job changes and associated tasks.
n
- Perform quality inspection checks and other procedural checks to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customers.
n




- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning to keep equipment in optimal condition.
n
- Housekeeping duties and any other ad hoc tasks required as part of a site production team.
n
- Contribute to a safe working environment for yourself and the team including working in accordance with the company Quality, Continuous Improvement and Work Health and Safety systems and standards.

About You

n

To be successful in the role, the ideal candidate will have the following:

n

n
- Previous experience working in a commercial print or packaging manufacturing environment in a similar role
n
- Proven experience in operating machines and processes using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines.
n
- Able to monitor processes, materials, and/or surrounding over period of time; reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems
n
- Have high level observation skills, ability to detect problems with machinery, errors or defects
n
- Keep up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to job
n
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
n
- Strong attention to detail,



accuracy and planning skills to meet tight deadlines and operational requirements and to think outside the square with sound judgement.
n
- Ability to demonstrate a willingness to respond to changing work requirements and peak periods.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high degree of integrity and honesty
n
- Have a high attention to detail and quality mindset and be able to follow instructions
n
- Ability to communicate with Supervisors, Peers and other stakeholders clearly and concisely
n
- Be able to perform tasks that require manual handling tasks.
n

Able to work 11.00pm to 7.00am shift, Monday to Friday.

n

Must have full working rights to Work in Australia
