Disability Support Worker – Multiple Support Roles

About the Role
n
To be considered for this role, you must have the ability to work between Wynyard and Latrobe. Shifts are available across days, evenings, weekends, sleepovers, and active nights.
n
We are currently seeking support workers for a mix of roles including:
n
Complex & Behaviour Support
n
Supporting participants with higher or more complex needs, including those who may display behaviours of concern, using consistent and trauma-informed approaches.
n
Shift Work (Supported Accommodation)
n
We also offer general shift work in supported accommodation settings. These shifts may involve assisting participants with daily routines, personal care, household tasks, and overnight support.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Provide person-centered support tailored to each participant's goals and needs
n
- Assist with daily living activities including personal care, manual handling, and medication support
n
- Support participants to access the community and build independence
n
- Respond calmly and effectively to challenging situations
n
- Build positive, trusting relationships with participants
n
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Vulnerable People Check
n
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
n
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
n
- Driver's licence and reliable vehicle
n
- Ability to work from Wynyard to Latrobe
n
n
Desirable
n
n
- Medication endorsement
n
- Experience supporting participants with complex needs or behaviour support
n
- Certificate III in Disability / Individual Support (or similar)
n
n
