About the Role:

n

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Accounting or Finance student to join our rapidly expanding business based out of our Brisbane office.

n

As a key member of our Finance team, the Finance Intern will be exposed to Mader's financial management & reporting functions, supporting our Senior Accountants with day-to-day finance operations.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

Support Senior Accountants during month end with reviews, reconciliations and investigations.

n

Involvement with the fortnightly pay cycles.

n

Work on fixed-asset accounting including additions, disposals and depreciation,



and general ledger reconciliation process for balance sheet account.

n

Assist with Payables and Receivables teams.

n

Assist with preparation of BAS, IAS and other statutory reporting.

n

Assist with ensuring month end is completed on time and with high accuracy.

n

Interact with operations when required to support our growing business.

n

Requirements:

n

Currently undertaking a Bachelor of Finance, Accounting, or similar.

n

Valid driver's licence.

n

Passionate, eager and ready to learn!
