The Village Chef by Meals On Wheels – Turramurra NSW

We are seeking a reliable Kitchen Assistant & Delivery Driver to support the preparation, packing, and delivery of quality meals from our Turramurra kitchen; serving vulnerable clients across Hornsby, Ku-Ring-Gai, and Northern Beaches LGAs. Working as part of a close-knit team; Kitchen Assistants help prepare, portion, pack, label, and maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards, while Delivery Drivers ensure timely and accurate transport of bulk meals between sites.

Both roles require solid attention to detail, a commitment to food safety and WHS standards, and a team-focused, can-do attitude. Applicants must be physically capable, reliable, and committed to delivering meals with care and consistency.

Applicants must hold a valid full driver licence and be able and willing to drive a van

n

Applicants must be physically capable of lifting heavy boxes/meals up to approx. 15kg

n

Most common shifts hours will be 6am-12pm

n

Shifts may vary and can consist of 4 hr. shifts scheduled any time within our operational hours of 6am-6pm

n

The role is suited for candidates who are flexible, reliable, hands-on, and comfortable working across both kitchen operations and delivery support.

Regular shifts will be available in September while our regular driver is away.
