Couple and Family Counsellor - Mental Health

Seeking a Couple and Family Counsellor to join our Tuggerah mental health service and deliver person‐centred, relationship‐based support.

We're excited to introduce a new Couple and Family Counsellor – Mental Health role.This opportunity is ideal for a qualified clinician who values relationship‐centred, person‐focused care and enjoys working collaboratively to support individuals, couples and families experiencing mental health challenges.

The Hub operates as a no wrong door entry point, enabling adults and their families to access information, support and services that strengthen psychological and physical health and social and emotional wellbeing.

You'll work in a person‐centred, multidisciplinary environment that brings together clinical, peer, cultural and community expertise to deliver coordinated, relationship‐focused care. The role sits within a shared practice framework that supports collaboration, learning and consistency of care, with service delivery supported by Grand Pacific Health, Relationships Australia NSW (RANSW)and Odyssey House.

Whatyou'lldo

- Deliver high-quality therapy to individuals,couplesand families (in-person, online and phone)
n
- Partner with clients as a Care/Wellbeing Navigator to develop and maintain shared mental health and recovery plans
n
- Conduct intake, psychosocial and risk assessments, including safety planning
n
- Provide care coordination, case management and group work and shared intake coverage
n
- Apply family systems and evidence‐based frameworks, collaborate with multidisciplinary practitioners, and maintain quality documentation, supervision and professional development
n

- 24-month maximumterm contract
n
- Full time position
n
- Location: Tuggerah, close to train station
n
- Approx $50-56 per hour (depending on skills and experience) + 12% superannuation, 17.5% leaveloading, salarypackaging to reduce your taxable income, and other benefits

Whatyou'llbring

- Qualifications inCounselling, Counselling & Psychotherapy, Relationship Counselling or Couple & Family Counselling
n
- Eligibility for registration withAHPRA, AASW, PACFA or ACA
n
- Minimum 100 hours of clinically supervised counselling experience
n
- Experience working with couples and families within a strong family systems framework
n
- Understanding of mental health, family violence, childprotectionand addiction
n
- A warm, culturally safe, trauma-informed approach
n
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
n
