Discover the Opportunity....Opal Fibre Packaging Australia provides a full service offering in corrugated cardboard box packaging from design and product testing through to supply chain integration. We have an exciting opportunity for a Wastewater Services Technician to join the team at our site in Scoresby.
n
The main focus initially will be the water treatment plant but overtime the role would likely evolve to a broader process engineering position providing support to the site.
n
Other key duties of this role include:
n
n
- Lead quality monitoring and troubleshooting activities
n
- Perform testing activities
n
- Ensure results are adequately analysed, collated and reported
n
- Ensuring that manufacturing processes are within compliance standards
n
- Identifying opportunities for improvements to relevant processes
n
- Coordination with a wide range of internal and external customers and suppliers
n
n

For this role we would ideally like you to have:

n
- Prior experience working within fast-paced environments overseeing wastewater processes
n
- Prior experience in testing and compliance (this is a requirement for this role)
n
- Ability to learn and manage the wastewater process autonomously
n
- Experience working within wastewater would be highly advantageous
n
- The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
n
- Ability to gather and interpret relevant data
n
- Strong organizational skills
n
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
