About the Role:

n

RFI Technology Solutions is seeking skilled and experienced Senior Field Technicians for exciting new opportunities. If you have a strong background in telecommunications, particularly with narrowband, mobiles and in-building/tunnel (DAS/IBC/RRB) installations, and are looking for a current challenge, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Oversee a team of installers, ensuring safety objectives and project targets are met.
n
- Conduct installation activities as required by Supervisor/Team Leader.
n
- Interpret complex designs and implement as intended.
n




- Haul coax, install infrastructure and fibre cables within the in-building/tunnels (DAS/IBC/RRB) environment.
n
- Install narrowband, mobiles and Radio Re-Broadcast (RRB) systems
n
- Testing and terminating i.e. Sweep & PIM
n
- Reporting on systems i.e. Completions
n
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and authorities.
n
- Identify and resolve project issues.
n
- Manage and instruct on WHS issues.
n
- Ensure the availability of appropriate tools, safety equipment, and materials for task completion.
n
- Identify potential hazardous situations and take corrective actions accordingly.
n
- Accurately collate as-built and progress records
n

Qualifications and Experience:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience managing a team of installers.
n
- Experience within the telecommunications industry is highly regarded.
n
- Proficiency with mobiles and narrowband installation, and hauling coax and fibre cables within the in-building/tunnels (DAS/IBC/RRB) environment.
n
- Experience in the building industry installing various cables (fire system, CAT5/6, Foxtel) is highly desirable.
n
- Understanding of WHS practices.
n
- Current Industry OH&S; White Card/Blue Card.
n
- EWP and Working at Heights qualification desirable
n
- Valid Australian Driver's License.
n
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
n
