Altaira is seeking Personal Care Workers to work within aged care facilities across Sydney. You choose when and where you want to work and will receive a high hourly rate with additional benefits.

What you'll do:

n

Provide support with daily living activities, including personal care, cleaning, and hygiene

n

Assist with meal preparation, plating, serving, and refreshments

n

Prepare simple meals and snacks

n

Provide transport support to appointments and activities (where approved)

n

Deliver care in line with individualised care plans

n

Monitor client conditions and report changes to nursing staff

n

Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation

n

Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other health professionals

n

Support clients' physical, emotional, and social wellbeing

n

Encourage client independence and participation in care

n





Collaborate with team members to ensure appropriate support and resources

n

Uphold client dignity, rights, privacy, and confidentiality at all times

n

Work within own scope, seeking guidance when required

n

Follow infection control standards and safe work practices

n

Comply with legal, ethical, and organisational policies and procedures

n

Report changes in client condition and follow appropriate escalation processes

n

Contribute to a safe workplace by identifying and reporting hazards

n

Maintain compliance with Quality Management and Work Health & Safety requirements

n

Perform duties in line with strict confidentiality and privacy standards.

n

Certificate III in Aged Care (Disability not accepted)

Current National Police Clearance

n

Current First Aidcertificate
