We are currently hiring for a Leading Hand for the sheet metal department who is keen to join our team of highly-skilled tradespeople and wants to work in an environment where they are recognised and rewarded for their work.

Prospect to work a on large variety of high end bespoke projects

n

Standard 38 hour week7am- 3:30pm (Mon-Thurs) 7am-1pm (Friday) with the occasional overtime

n

Factory based role with occasional site work

n

Stable and long-term employment within a close-knit team

Machines you will be using:





n

Durma Pressbreak, with Cybelec 15T controller – this is 80% of the role, with the remaining 20% split between

n

Curving Rolls 2.4 metres long

n

Panbreak

n

Required capabilities around programming:

n

Program folds

n

Make fold adjustments

n

Translate substrate measurements into folding programs

n

Leading Hand responsibilities:

n

Ability to work independently or lead a small team of 2+ staff.

n

Manage several jobs running in parallel with different timing and priorities, communicate job progress and updates to your Production Manager.

n

80% Hands on work / 20% Management and Leadership.
