About the Role:

n

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join the team. You will be responsible for all Plant, Equipment and Facilities ensuring Animal Welfare, WH&S;, Quality Systems, Environmental and Legal requirements are met, whilst still delivering optimum reliability and compliance with effective use of assets and human resources.

Duties will include:

n

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
n
- Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues
n
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
n
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve overall efficiency
n
- Parts interpreting and ordering
n
- Oversight of projects and installations
n

n

The ideal applicant should possess:

n

n
- Certified Maintenance Fitter and/or Certified Electrician with relevant qualifications
n
- Proven experience in an Industrial or manufacturing setting
n
- Repair, change and improve machinery while ensuring principles of HACCP & GMP are not compromised
n




- Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals
n
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude coupled with a great work ethic
n
- Effective communication skills in speaking with cross functional teams
n
- Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously and in a team
n
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards the job
n
- Willingness to work varying shifts as required.
n
- Manage after hours call outs
n
