Job Description

As a Medical Receptionist at Melbourne Neurocare, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our busy medical practice. We are hiring for all our locations Box Hill and Huntingdale. It will involve providing exceptional customer service to our patients, managing the front desk, and supporting our clinical team.

What you'll be doing

n

Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner

n

Scheduling and managing patient appointments

n

Handling patient inquiries and booking requests via phone, email, and in-person

n

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and files

n

Assisting with the processing of payments and medical claims

n

Providing administrative support to the clinical team

n

Ensuring the reception area and waiting room are well-organised, clean and presentable

n

What we're looking for

n

Experience (2+ years) working as a Medical Receptionist with medical specialists or surgeons

n

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients and clinicians in a professional and empathetic manner

n

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities,



with the capacity to prioritise and manage competing demands

n

Proficiency in using medical practice management software and other relevant IT systems

n

A calm and composed demeanour, able to work effectively under pressure

n

A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

n
