Job Description

ASG Civil & Industrial is seeking an experienced Pipeline CCTV Operator to join our growing team.

n

This role involves conducting CCTV inspections of sewer and drainage infrastructure, accurately identifying defects and producing transparent, professional inspection reports for our clients.

n

The successful candidate will be confident operating pipeline CCTV equipment, working independently and supporting drain cleaning crews when required.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Conduct CCTV inspections of sewer and stormwater pipelines.

n

Operate crawler cameras, push cameras and associated inspection equipment.

n

Assess and accurately code pipeline defects through WinCan.

n

Upload CCTV footage, photographs and reports in accordance with client requirements.

n

Locate blockages, damaged pipes, displaced joints, root intrusion and other defects.

n

Work alongside combination drain cleaning, jetting and vacuum truck crews.

n

Assist with cleaning, maintaining and troubleshooting CCTV equipment.

n

Complete daily pre-start checks, job records and safety documentation.

n

Communicate clearly with supervisors, clients and other site personnel.

n

Comply with company procedures, SWMS, environmental requirements and client safety standards.

About You

n

To be successful in this position, you will have:

n

Experience inspecting sewer and drainage networks.

n

Strong knowledge of pipeline defects and condition assessment.

n

The ability to produce accurate and detailed CCTV inspection reports.

n





Good computer skills and experience using CCTV WinCan reporting software.

n

The ability to work safely both independently and as part of a team.

n

Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

n

Experience with drain cleaning, high-pressure water jetting, vacuum loading or combination NDD/drain cleaning trucks will be highly regarded.

n

Current WSA05 accreditation, relevant pipeline inspection qualifications or experience with client-specific coding systems will also be viewed favourably.
