The Admissions and Recruitment Officer, based at Curtin College, Bentley Campus, assists education agents and students with applications and entry requirements.
n
This involves entering applicant data, processing applications, issuing offers and Coes, and ensuring that key stakeholders receive excellent customer service and quality standards.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- Assess applications from international and domestic applicants, screen for Genuine Student (GS) from high-risk countries, generate Letters of Offer and issue and manage Confirmation of Enrolments (CoEs)
n
- Support the Marketing Manager with Lead conversion as appropriate
n
- Liaise with education agents onshore and offshore, and Navitas Source Country Offices
n
- Update and maintain student records and contribute to the alignment of systems/records with the University partner
n
- Develop and maintain strong, effective and enduring partner relationships with agents, University and Navitas stakeholders
n
- Participate in promotional activities as required
n
n
The person we seek will ideally have the following:
n
n
- A relevant degree qualification and/or equivalent professional administrative training
n
- Preferable experience in working in an international admissions environment including the assessment of international applications for admissions GS assessment experience in a complex educational organisation
n
- Preferable demonstrated knowledge and experience of the ESOS Regulatory Framework and Student Visa Programme
n
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of attention to detail and proven ability to exercise judgement and initiative
n
- High level of computer competency, including data management through record uploads and data retrieval in large scale databases and advanced MS Office skills
n
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with and establish effective professional relationships with internal and external clients from a range of backgrounds and cultures
n
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently under broad supervision and as part of a team and to maintain a high level of efficient client service
