Work Support Mentor - Plenty (Part Time)

This is a part-time position (0.6 FTE), working three days per week, with the work schedule to be agreed upon with the successful candidate.
n
As aWork Support Mentorin the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program,you'll play a key role in helping participants with disability, injury, or health conditions thrive in their new employment. Through tailored post-placement support, solid employer partnerships, and practical on-the-job assistance, you'll help build confidence, independence, and long-term employment success.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- Provide ongoing mentoring and regular check-ins to help participants sustain employment and grow in their roles.
n
- Work collaboratively with employers to understand workplace needs and deliver meaningful, practical support.
n
- Assist with workplace training, upskilling, and reasonable adjustments that promote independence and job retention.
n
- Track employment milestones and outcomes to ensure participants remain supported and on course for long-term success.
n
- Manage accurate documentation, wage subsidies, and reporting requirements in line with program guidelines and performance goals.
n
n
This role operates across the Plenty Employment Services Area (ESA), covering a broad region that includes Preston, Epping, Greensborough, Doreen, and Doncaster.
n
What You'll Bring
n
n
- A Certificate or Diploma in Community or Employment Services (or similar), or relevant lived experience supporting pathways to education or employment is highly regarded.
n
- Demonstrated ability to deliver strengths-based, person-centred support while consistently achieving KPIs and performance targets.
n
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and provide empathetic, practical support that deliver results.
n
- Highly proficient across a wide range of digital tools and adept at navigating multiple systems efficiently.
n
- Full work rights in Australia, with the ability to obtain a National Police Check and Working withChildren Check.
n
