Southern.IML Pathology has a vacancy for full time, part time and casual Pathology Collectors to work in the Illawarra Region. The area covered is from Engadine to Gerringong. We are looking for a pathology collector who is customer focused and committed to providing a high quality pathology collection service. Perform specimen collection and handling (venepuncture); home visits; documentation, patient care and liaising with doctors and patients in a qualified manner.

Position Requirements:

- 1. Certificate III in pathology collection.
n
- 2. Demonstrated customer service experience and skills with the ability to effectively communicate with patients and carers.
n
- 3.
Skills in problem solving and troubleshooting with the ability to deal with and resolve general issues relating to specimen preparation and transport of specimens.
n
- 4. High attention to detail and data accuracy.
n
- 6. A current police and working with children check.
n
- 7. Permanent work rights with no restrictions.
n

- A current first aid certificate is an advantage.

The current hours of operation are between 7.30am to 7.00pm Monday to Friday, with participation in a weekend roster as required.
