Accounts Payable Officer

We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable cycle, ensuring invoices, expenses, and payments are processed accurately and on time.

You'll be part of a collaborative team that genuinely works well together, in a flexible environment with opportunities to partner across the wider business.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you'll take ownership of accounts payable, maintaining vendor relationships, resolving discrepancies, and identifying opportunities to improve processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Processing vendor and subcontractor invoices and credits
n
- Matching purchase orders and verifying approvals
n
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies
n
- Managing employee expenses and credit card reconciliations
n
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting audits
n
- Reconciling vendor statements and escalating issues
n
- Building strong vendor relationships
n
- Supporting process improvements and ad hoc tasks
n

About You

n

n
- Experience in accounts payable or a similar role (Minimum 3 years)
n
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
n
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP (desirable)
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
- Proactive with a continuous improvement mindset
