This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same — from helping customers across the counter to processing orders, supporting sales activity and keeping the branch running smoothly.

About the Role

n

Based in our Mackay branch and reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you'll be a key part of the team delivering excellent service to our customers.

n

This role combines internal sales, front counter service and customer support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working in a busy team environment.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Assisting customers at the front counter with enquiries, purchases and product advice
n
- Processing customer orders and preparing quotations
n
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email
n
- Recommending products and solutions to meet customer needs




n
- Working closely with the warehouse team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time
n
- Supporting Territory Managers with sales enquiries and order processing
n
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers through great service
n
- Contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the branch
n

You're someone who enjoys interacting with people and thrives in a team environment. You're organised, proactive and take pride in delivering excellent service.

You'll bring:

- Experience in internal sales, customer service or trade counter roles
n
- Robust communication and relationship-building skills
n
- A positive attitude and solutions-focused mindset
n
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
n
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- Basic computer skills and confidence working with systems
n
- A team-first attitude and willingness to pitch in when needed
n
- Experience within industrial supplies, safety equipment, hardware or trade-related industries would be an advantage but is not essential.
