Algester Sports Club is a friendly local Community Club located in south Brisbane with exceptional Lawn Bowl facilities & maintained Greens and contemporary licensed operations including: 70 EGMs, Bar, Bistro, Café and a large Function room facilities. The Club is seeking experienced Chef to come & join our friendly team on a Full Time, Part Time or Casual basis.

Able to work autonomously with drive and focus

n

Work well under pressure

n

Available on weekends and Public Holidays

Requirements:

- Relevant industry qualifications and experience
n
- Innovative and passionate about delivery of quality service and food
n
- Active participation in the development of new menus
n
- Current knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety regulations
n
- Correct manual handling techniques and food hygiene are essential
n
- Personal presentation, hygiene and punctuality is vital
n
- Preferably have experience in the club/pub industry
n
- Certificate III or above in Commercial Cookery would be an Advantage
n
