About the Role:

n

As our Housekeeping Manager, you'll oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back‐of‐house spaces are clean, welcoming, and consistently up to Nomads' high standards.

n

What You'll Do:

n

n
- Lead, train, and inspire a large housekeeping team, consistently coaching and developing staff.
n
- Be a hands‐on, visible leader who actively drives the team and sets clear expectations.
n
- Set the standard by leading by example in all aspects of housekeeping.
n
- Drive consistently high standards of cleanliness, quality, hygiene, and presentation across the property.
n
- Ensure all areas of the hostel are sparkling, well‐presented, and ready for our guests.
n
- Create rosters and manage staff schedules efficiently.
n
- Conduct regular inspections and follow up on standards to ensure quality is maintained.
n
- Coach team members in real time, providing feedback and support to continuously improve performance.
n
- Manage inventory, supplies, and liaise with suppliers.
n
- Collaborate with maintenance and front office teams for seamless operations.
n
- Handle guest feedback professionally, using it as an opportunity to continually improve the guest experience.
n
- Be hands‐on when needed and support the team during busy periods.
n
- Build a positive team culture where high standards, accountability,



and pride in the job are part of the everyday vibe.

What We're Looking For:

n

- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a housekeeping role, preferably in hospitality.
n
- A hands‐on leader who enjoys being actively involved with their team and leading from the front.
n
- Someone who can confidently drive high standards of cleanliness, quality, and presentation across a busy property.
n
- Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
n
- Ability to train, coach, and develop staff consistently while leading by example.
n
- Someone who is comfortable holding the team accountable and having the conversations needed to maintain standards.
n
- Knowledge of workplace health, safety, and hygiene standards.
n
- A proactive, positive, and energetic attitude.
n
- Ability to thrive in a fast- paced, multicultural environment.
n
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating a great experience for both guests and staff.
