This isn't a traditional pre-sales role.

We're looking for a hands-on Solution Specialist who can join our client working directly with customers to unpack real business problems and shape practical, modern solutions using Microsoft technologies.

You'll sit at the intersection of customer engagement, solution design, and delivery, with a strong focus on data and cloud platforms.

What You'll Be Doing

n

Customer Engagement & Problem Solving (Core Focus)

n

n
- Work directly with customers to understand what's really driving their challenges
n
- Lead discovery conversations and translate business problems into technical approaches
n
- Shape solution designs across Azure and up-to-date data platforms
n
- Communicate ideas clearly — no jargon, just impact
n
- Contribute to proposals and solution approaches
n
- Present ideas and architectures in a way customers understand
n
- Support early-stage conversations without needing to "hard sell"
n

Delivery Alignment

n

n
- Stay close to delivery teams to ensure solutions are practical and achievable
n
- Provide technical input across key projects
n




- Occasionally contribute hands-on where needed
n

n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Strong experience across Microsoft Azure
n
- Background in data platforms, analytics, or data engineering
n
- Experience in solution design, consulting, or technical delivery roles
n
- Ability to lead customer conversations and uncover real problems
n
- Strong communication skills — able to simplify complex ideas
n

n

Must Have

n

n
- Experience with modern data stacks (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric)
n
- Exposure to AI or advanced analytics use cases
n
- Microsoft certifications or partner environment experience
n
