Manly Fast Ferry and Fantasea Cruising, being a part of the NRMA Group, has an exciting future ahead as the Manly to Circular Quay Fast Ferry service will continue to operate till 2035 as part of a contract with the NSW Government.

Right now, we are on the lookout for people to join us where you can have the opportunity to be a part of one Sydney's best-performing public transport services, with world-class safety and a solid service standards for regular commuters and visitors.

You will be working closely with the Fleet Managers to conduct repairs, maintenance and ship husbandry as part of a small friendly team.

n

This is a Full time opportunity (Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm, 38 hours per week) with potential overtime available.

n

What You'll Do

n

- Technicians report to the Fleet Managers and will be based out of Rozelle, Darling Harbour, Palm Beach and may be required to work offsite.
n
- Technicians are allocated preventive, corrective or general tasks as required, across a fleet of 20 vessels.
n

What You'll Bring

n
- Certified in a relevant field (i.e Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Fitter, Marine Mechanic, Marine Engine Driver Grade 1, Electrician or similar).
n




- Demonstrated skills and hands‐on experience with technical systems, repairs, maintenance and diagnostics.
n
- Be self‐motivated and able to work unsupervised.
n
- Display a positive attitude, respect for fellow staff, good work ethic and cleanliness.
n
- Knowledge of vessel technical systems
