We are seeking an experiencedFibre Technicianto join our team in afull-time employee role .

The Role

n

This position involves workingindependently in the fieldto deliver FTTP installations across residential and commercial developments.

n

We provide the work - you will be responsible for planning and managing your daily schedule, optimising travel routes, and ensuring all allocated jobs are completed to a high standard, with full operational and technical support from our office team.

n

You must be comfortable workingautonomouslyas well ascollaboratively within a team environmentwhen required, and bewilling to travel across South-East Queensland on an ad-hoc basis.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n




- Perform FTTP installations, testing, and commissioning
n
- Install PCDs, NTDs, lead-ins, and internal fibre cabling
n
- Carry out fault finding and restoration works
n
- Undertake minor civil works (starter conduits, clearing minor blockages, etc.)
n
- Maintain accurate job documentation and quality standards
n
- Represent the company professionally on site
n

n

About You

n

n
- Minimum 1 years' experience in fibre or telecommunications
n
- Open Cabler's Licence with Optical Fibre endorsement
n
- NBN Enable Card
n
- White Card and current driver's licence
n
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
n
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude
n
- Able to workindependentlyand alsoas part of a team
n
- Able to effectively manage your own workload and schedule
n

n

Highly regarded (but not essential):

n

n
- Civil works experience
n
- Fibre splicing experience or willingness to be trained
n

n

NBN Ready (must have or be willing to obtain):

n

n
- First Aid / CPR
n
- Traffic Management Implementation Card
n
- NBN Skills 9 + 12
n
- Gas Test Atmospheres
n
- Police Check & AML check
n
