About the Role

n

You'll start as General Manager, Manufacturing & Operations- leading a broad site leadership team spanning production, technical, procurement and supply chain, with full accountability for performance, people and delivery across the business. This is a visible, floor-based leadership role, not one run from behind a desk.

n

From there, it grows. Following a structured review, and subject to demonstrated capability, the role expands into a broader Executive General Manager position with accountability across the entire business, including manufacturing, finance, and sales & marketing, backed by the Managing Director's direct mentorship. It's the kind of progression that could take years to reach elsewhere, if it came at all.

Key Accountabilities

n

- Own safety and drive a proactive,



zero-harm culture across the site
n
- Deliver production against plan: planning, labour utilisation, operational rhythm
n
- Take full ownership of operational cost performance, including labour, yield, waste, efficiency and downtime, and hit budget
n
- Partner with the CFO, but own the outcome
n
- Drive Lean, 5S and hands-on continuous improvement
n
- Build capability and engagement across the workforce, and develop future leaders
n
- Maintain QA, GMP and food safety standards, always audit-ready
n

About You

n

n
- Senior operations or manufacturing leader, FMCG or food preferred, with GM, Operations Director or senior site leadership experience
n
- Takes real ownership of a manufacturing operation, and accountability beyond the factory floor
n
- Thrives in a privately owned, founder-led environment
n
- Commercially sharp: you can read and operate within a P&L;, even without full ownership of one
n
- Leads from the front: visible, hands-on, engaged in the day-to-day
n
- A clear, practical communicator who builds accountability without fear
n
- Humble enough to learn the business, confident enough to challenge it
n
- A genuine track record of stability and impact
n
