Barfold Quarryis part of a family-owned business supplying concrete and quarry products to the Melbourne market. We are seeking an experienced and motivatedQuarry Supervisor / Crusher Plant Supervisorto manage ourBacchus Marsh Quarry/ Recycling Plant.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can lead site operations while managing day-to-day administration and reporting.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

Manage daily quarry and crusher plant operations

n

Supervise and manage site staff, productivity, and performance

n

Operate and oversee the safe operation of loaders, excavators, and other mobile plant equipment

n

Carry out quarry extraction, stockpile management, loading, and material handling activities

n

Ensure production meets budget targets and operational requirements

n

Maintain and enforce OH&S; and environmental procedures

n

Conduct pre-starts, toolbox meetings, and safety inspections

n

Monitor plant performance, breakdowns, and maintenance requirements

n

Liaise with management, contractors, and maintenance teams

n





Production reports and daily logs

n

Timesheets and labour records

n

Maintenance and fault reporting

n

Incident and hazard reporting

n

Dockets supplied to customers

n

Purchase orders

n

Skills & Experience Required:

n

Experience supervising crusher plant operations

n

Demonstrated experience operating loaders and excavators in a quarry or similar heavy industry environment

n

Relevant loader and excavator tickets/licences highly regarded

n

Strong understanding of OH&S; procedures and compliance

n

Competent computer skills and experience with site reporting

n

Current Driver's Licence

n

Ability to prioritise, multitask, and work autonomously

n

Hands-on, reliable, honest, and efficient

n

Robust communication and leadership skills

n
