What you'll be doing

n

As a Fleet Technician, you'll play an important role in Beam's success on the streets. You'll be based at our warehouse and responsible for the quality of our e-vehicles. You will come to know our e-vehicles from top to bottom, inside and out, and will be capable of doing anything from quick repairs to total refurbishments if necessary.

We are looking for someone who takes real pride in their work and ensures that Beam's e-vehicles remain the safest and most reliable vehicles out there.

n

Your day will also include:

n

n
- Supporting other warehouse operations as needed (e.g. taking delivery of new e-vehicles)
n
- Repair and refurbish of our e-vehicles
n
- Communicating with your Operations team on supply requirements (e.g.



spare parts)
n
- Working with the Operations team to monitor and maintain stock accuracy against our inventory management system
n
- Keeping our warehouse and work areas tidy
n
- Overseeing waste disposal
n
- Thinking about, and sharing, ways we can improve our productivity and streamline our processes
n
- Following and adhering to our internal processes and procedures, particularly those relating to WH&S;
n
- Meeting our warehouse KPIs
n
- May be required depending on location to rebalance scooters from end-trip areas to hotspots and Swap batteries to ensure our scooters are fully charged for riders
n
- Supporting the onboarding of our new warehouse team members as required.

Skills and Experience

n

n
- For non-Australian citizens/residents: must hold a valid visa with at least 12 months' validity and permission to reside in Port Douglas (no relocation required)
n
- Have previous mechanical experience
n
- You're smartphone savvy - you'll frequently use our Beam app and Slack on your personal smartphone.
n
- Able to communicate effectively with your team and keep them up to date on work in progress
n
- Able to organize your own day and prioritize tasks with support from Operations Team.
n
- Have high standards and strong attention to detail
n
- Motivated, energetic and physically fit; comfortable lifting and moving 25kg+ e-vehicles throughout your shift
n
- Keen to learn new skills and adapt to new concepts
n
- Able to use initiative and creativity to solve problems that arise
n
