What weare looking for
n
We areseeking two Psychologists or Clinical Psychologists to join our team and contributeto the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based psychological care forindividuals experiencing sleep difficulties and co-occurring mental healthconditions.
n
Key aspectsof the role:
n
n
- Clients present with sleepdisorders (predominantly., insomnia, circadian rhythm disturbances) whichoften co-occur with anxiety, depression, PTSD, neurodivergence, and othermental health concerns.
n
- Ability to work independentlywhile being part of a supportive, research-informed team.
n
n
EssentialCriteria
n
n
- A relevant qualification inpsychology
n
- Experience in behavioural sleepmedicine and CBT-I, or a willingness to develop expertise in this area.
n
- Full registration as apsychologist or clinical psychologist with the Australian HealthPractitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
n
- Eligibility for a Medicareprovider number to offer rebated services.
n
- An Australian Business Number(ABN) and professional indemnity insurance.
n
- A high standard of ethicalpractice and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
n
n
Desirableattributes
n
n
- Previous experience working in ahealth psychology setting and/or private practice.
n
- Familiarity with ACT, EMDR,mindfulness-based approaches, or other evidence-based therapeuticmodalities relevant to sleep and mental health.
n
- An interest in contributing toresearch, program development, or training initiatives within theInstitute.
n
- Registered as a Psychologist forworkers compensation.
n
