About the role
n
As a Registered Nurse at the Forensic Hospital, you will provide assessment, treatment and recovery-focused care for patients with complex mental illness within a secure forensic workplace. You will work alongside experienced nursing, medical and allied health clinicians to contribute to comprehensive mental health assessments, multidisciplinary care planning and therapeutic interventions that support patient recovery while maintaining safety.

Role Requirements

This opportunity may suit you if you have:

- Experience in inpatient mental health and/or forensic mental health nursing
n
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care
n
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
n
- Strong clinical judgement and therapeutic communication skills
n
- An interest in building specialist skills in forensic mental health
n
n
This role may also suit Registered Nurses currently working in general inpatient mental health who are looking to transition into forensic mental health.
