As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Insurance Broker to join our team.

About the Role

n

As an Insurance Broker at ODIN Insurance, you'll play a key role in delivering tailored general insurance solutions across a broad range of industries and occupations. The role offers an excellent mix of new business opportunities while also assisting with renewals as part of our collaborative broking team.

n

Rather than managing an individual portfolio, you'll work alongside your colleagues to prepare, negotiate and place insurance solutions, helping clients secure the right cover while delivering a consistently high standard of service.

n

You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of risks, industries and insurance products, making this an ideal opportunity for a broker who enjoys variety, problem-solving and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage new business enquiries from initial contact through to policy placement.
n
- Prepare, market and negotiate insurance quotations across a broad range of general insurance products.
n

- Liaise with insurers to negotiate competitive terms and secure the best outcomes for clients.
n
- Prepare new business,



renewals, endorsements and policy amendments.
n
- Identify opportunities to provide additional value through appropriate cross-selling and coverage reviews.
n
- Support clients throughout the claims process by providing guidance and assistance.
n
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within the brokerage management system.
n
- Ensure all work complies with regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.
n
- Contribute positively to the ongoing success and growth of the broking team.

About You

n

We're looking for someone who is skilled, motivated and passionate about delivering outstanding client outcomes.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Tier 1 General Insurance Broking qualification (RG146).
n
- Previous experience as an Insurance Broker or Account Executive.
n
- Strong knowledge of commercial and/or domestic general insurance products.
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
n
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
n
- The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
n

Desirable

n

n
- Experience using brokerage management systems such as WinBEAT or Sunrise.
n
- Established insurer relationships.
n
- Business development experience.
n
