n The APP Group is growing its Defence sector capability and is hiring multiple Project Managers to support upcoming Defence infrastructure programs in Canberra. These roles are ideal for experienced professionals ready to lead complex projects and contribute to strategic national outcomes.
n You'll be part of a collaborative and high-performing team, delivering impactful projects from planning through to completion. Whether you're looking to step up or bring your senior expertise to the table, we have opportunities suited to various levels of experience.
n Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Project Manage infrastructure projects on behalf of our client through all lifecycle stages: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
n
- Ensure procurement activities comply with Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
n
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships through proactive engagement.
n
- Manage project documentation and reporting in line with Defence and APP Group standards.
n
- Deliver projects on time and within budget, with a focus on risk management and continuous improvement.
n
- Oversee handover/takeover (HOTO) processes and ensure timely project closeout.
n
- Capture and share lessons learned to improve future project delivery.
n

About Younn
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Engineering, Construction Management).
n
- A current Baseline Security Clearance (or ability to maintain one).
n
- Proven experience managing construction projects, ideally within the Defence or Government sector.
n
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, or Agile.
n




- Strong understanding of government procurement practices and compliance standards.
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
