Trainee Mechanical Workshop Technician (Career Path to Hydraulic Technician)

This is structured, hands-on mechanical training with real progression.

What You'll Learn
n
You will be trained to:
n
Assemble high-pressure hose products to strict quality standards
n
Operate hydraulic crimping, cutting and testing equipment
n
Conduct pressure testing, inspections and certification
n
Understand hose construction, fittings, tolerances and failure modes
n
Maintain workshop safety, organisation and efficiency
n
Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
n
Solid performers typically progress to independent assembly and testing responsibilities within 12-18 months.
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who:
n
Has mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience (automotive, mechanical, fabrication, warehouse or similar)
n
Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in accurate work
n
Is physically capable of lifting 20kg+
n
Communicates clearly and works well in a team
n
Has full Australian working rights
n
A forklift licence is an advantage, but not expected - training can be provided
n
