Sandstone Point Hotel is on the hunt for enthusiastic Apprentice Cooks to complete a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and join our dynamic kitchen team.

About the Role

n

Working alongside our experienced chefs, you'll receive practical, hands‐on training while completing your Certificate III in Commercial Cookery. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

n

- Assisting with the preparation and cooking of a wide variety of meals.
n
- Learning food preparation techniques and kitchen procedures.
n
- Working under the guidance and supervision of qualified chefs.
n
- Operating commercial kitchen equipment, including mixers, steamers, fryers, ovens and cooktops.
n
- Assisting with food service when required.
n
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen, including dishwashing, equipment cleaning and sanitisation.
n
- Assisting with food storage,



stock rotation and general kitchen operations.
n
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
n
