Role Overview
n
Assist KAU National Service and Regional offices achieve targets in customer satisfaction, dealer support (Hot Line/DFR/QIR), technician satisfaction and after sales activities. Provide dealer based technical support activities and onsite dealer-based training to support dealer network
n
Role Responsibilities
n
n
- Maintain and operate the Kia Technical Hot Line for designated KAU Region (NSW) in a proactive manner
n
- Maintain a high level of technical support via the Dealer Hot Line
n
- Follow up on technical cases in a timely manner with all customers
n
- Manage technical enquiries
n
- Perform in-dealer visits to provide technical support and investigate customer concerns
n
- Investigate customer / vehicle concerns
n
- Provide reports on findings and actions taken
n
- Proactively research and develop Technical Service Bulletins to advise dealers of field fixes / repair tips etc.
n
- Assist with research and investigating quality issues.
n
- Assist with testing and diagnosis of components returned for inspection
n
- Discuss and make recommendations to the KAU National Service / Regional Office on all issues requiring action and follow the agreed outcome through to completion
n
- Liaise with National and Regional offices with relation to Technical and Quality Issues,
including Foreman's meetings
n
- Provide general product support, by way of assisting with preparation of press vehicles & motor show vehicles, and provide technical backup and support for current model launches, press and customer events
n
- Prepare monthly status reports relating to specific objectives including:n n
- Technical Hot Line operations
n
- Quality reports
n
n
- Provide assistance with Service Training through course review and feedback as required
n
- Assist in the planning, design and implementation of technical and non-technical Skills Competitions
n
- Assist with Current Dealer setup activities
n
- Conduct dealer visits to provide basic training on:n
n
- Kia Diagnostic Tools - GDS/KDS etc.
n
- Kia PDI Procedures
n
- Kia Central and GSW Operation, including Dealer Hot Line
n
- Basic Kia Service Policy & Procedures training
n
- Basic Kia Warranty Policy & Procedures training
n
n
- Ad hoc duties as request
n
n
Critical Qualifications & Experience
n
n
- Qualified Motor Mechanic (preferably Master Technician)
n
- Minimum 6 years' experience (2 years after obtaining qualification) within a dealership and full understanding of dealer operations (Service, Parts, Sales)
n
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) & Internet
n
- Exposure to or experience in Importer/Manufacturer or related technical industry
n
- Experience with Kia/Hyundai product ideal
n
