Leading Hand / Maintenance Manager - High-End Residential Home Builder

One of Sydney's leading architecturally designed home builders is looking to appoint a Leading Hand / Maintenance Manager. This is a newly created role offering stability, autonomy and a genuine work-life balance - suited to someone wanting a change of pace without stepping away from the industry.

You might be a seasoned Carpenter or Site Manager looking for a more manageable role, or a younger, energetic candidate who enjoys problem solving and working directly with clients. Either way, you will get to work across some of Sydney's most impressive homes - handling defects, small works and general client care.

You will be attending previously completed projects valued up to $25m, carrying out minor rectification works, coordinating trades, assessing upcoming maintenance needs and running small works up to $1m in value.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n




- Completing minor rectification works and managing defect items
n
- Coordinating subcontractors and scheduling specialist trades
n
- Managing client enquiries professionally and providing explicit updates
n
- Assessing maintenance requests, troubleshooting issues and scoping small works
n
- Maintaining accurate records of works, timeframes and materials
n
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
n
- Identifying potential future works and reporting back to the office
n

What We're Looking For:

n

n
- Experience in high-end residential as a Carpenter, Maintenance Manager, Leading Hand or Site Manager
n
- Strong problem-solving ability and the confidence to work independently
n
- Professional communication and client-facing skills
n
- Solid construction knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues on site
n
- Organised and reliable with strong attention to detail
n
- Carpentry trade preferred but not essential
n
