About the Role
n
You will work within a busy freight terminal, operating reach stackers and forklifts to safely move, load and unload containers.
n
Hours will vary based on operational requirements, with regular shifts available across days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
n
What You Will Do
n
n
- Operate reach stackers and forklifts safely
n
- Load and unload containers from rail rolling stock
n
- Complete pre start inspections
n
- Report equipment defects promptly
n
- Complete operational documentation accurately
n
- Follow all site and safety procedures
n
- Support safe and efficient terminal operations
n
n
What You Will Need
n
n
- A current High Risk Work Licence with RS Reach Stacker class
n
- Proven experience operating a reach stacker
n
- A current High Risk Work Licence with LF Forklift class
n
- Forklift operating experience
n
- A current unrestricted Class C driver licence
n
- Flexibility to work diverse hours across a 24/7 roster
n
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
n
- Ability to complete a Category 1 Rail Medical, drug and alcohol screening, site inductions and other pre employment requirements
n

- Current rail competencies

- Previous experience in rail, freight, port or intermodal operations
