Stephen O'Halloran Racing Pty Ltd is currently seeking highly experienced and capable
n staff to join our team. Positions are full-time and available at Hawkesbury Racecourse, Clarendon NSW 2756.

n

Horse Trainer/Rider - able to ride 8 -10 horses per morning with particular
n emphasis on riding pace/timed work and jump outs.

n

The salary will be above award - in the range of $75,000 - $80,000 per annum
n depending upon the level of responsibility.

n

All applicants must have a minimum of 3-years full-time professional experience in the
n role, or at least 2 years full time highly relevant experience and a relevant qualification.
n In addition, the following will be required:-

n

- Knowledge and experience of horse training and handling methods specific to
n
- thoroughbred racing
n




- Proven ability to train and educate young horses
n
- Where appropriate ability to pre-train young horses
n
- Oral and written communication skills of a level to take instruction and provide
n
- information
n
- Ability to work in a team and independently
n
- Sound knowledge of health and safety obligations and demonstrated skills in secure
n
- operation of equipment relevant to the training and preparation of racehorses
n
- Proven as reliable workers, with excellent horsemanship skills.
