About the Role:
n
We are seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) team on a casual basis. As an OSHC Educator, you will work under general supervision to support the delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate programs for children in a safe, welcoming environment.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating OSHC and Vacation Care programs.
n
- Support children's inclusion, wellbeing, and daily routines, including personal care where required.
n
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
n
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and the National Quality Framework.
n
- Maintain accurate records and assist with general administration tasks.
n
- Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development activities.
n
n
About You:
n
n
- Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of Cardijn College.
n
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with children and families.
n
- Experience working with children, including those with additional needs (highly desirable).
n
- Strong organisational skills and ability to follow instructions in varied situations.
n
- Good physical fitness to engage in active play and safely set up resources.
n
- Demonstrated understanding of professional boundaries and confidentiality.
n
n
Essential Requirements:
n
n
- Certificate III in a relevant discipline or equivalent competencies.
n
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
n
- Certification in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN).
n
- Approved First Aid qualification (as per ACECQA requirements).
n
- Ability to comply with Work Health & Safety obligations.
n
