Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Grounds & Maintenance Officer who takes pride in presenting our caravan park to a high standard and enjoys solving problems before they become problems. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who likes variety, works independently and has a strong eye for detail.

Key responsibilities

n

General grounds maintenance including landscaping, mowing and cleaning

n

Routine inspections and preventative maintenance of cabins, amenities and park infrastructure

n

Identifying maintenance issues before they become guest complaints

n

Minor repairs including plumbing, carpentry and general handyman work

n

Maintain the presentation and condition of park facilities, including amenities, camp kitchen, pool and outdoor areas

n

Maintaining equipment and tools

n

Assisting guests promptly and professionally

n

About you

n

We're looking for someone who:

n

Is practical, has excellent problem‐solving skills, and enjoys fixing things

n

Notices maintenance issues without needing to be told

n

Prioritises work,



manages their own day and takes ownership of tasks

n

Takes pride in presentation and has strong attention to detail

n

Is reliable, organised and punctual

n

Has robust communication and customer service skills

n

Can work independently and as part of a team

n

Is physically fit and capable of manual work

n

Has basic computer skills (or is willing to learn)

n

Experience in caravan parks, hotels, resorts or facilities maintenance

n

Gardening and landscaping experience

n

General handyman or facilities maintenance experience

n

Pool maintenance experience

n

Variety every day - no two days are the same

n

Supportive management, friendly team environment

n

On‐site accommodation can be included
