We're looking for an experienced Trade Qualified Printer / Press Operator to join our high-performing production team, operating state-of-the-art 6 and 8 colour Heidelberg XL presses with Cutstar reel-fed units.

n

This is a permanent, full time opportunity where you'll produce premium packaging for some of the world's most recognised brands using industry-leading technology.

n

One of the biggest perks? You'll work a compressed 3-day week (36 hours), giving you four days off every week to enjoy everything Melbourne has to offer.

Your roster:

n

n
- Initial onboarding and training on day shift
n
- Permanent night shift: 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
n
- Four consecutive days off every week
n

n

Your Duties

n

n
- Operate and monitor advanced printing and finishing equipment to produce premium-quality products.
n
- Set up, adjust and optimise print jobs to meet production and quality standards.
n
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot production issues.
n




- Conduct quality inspections and maintain accurate production records.
n
- Work safely while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Mentor and support Assistant Printers where required.
n

About You

n

n
- Proven experience operating multi-colour Heidelberg presses (Cutstar experience highly regarded).
n
- Strong understanding of colour management and print quality standards.
n
- Ability to read and use colour measurement devices.
n
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook).
n
- Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving skills.
n
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Team player with strong communication and organisational skills.
n
