Job Description

This is a hands-on role combining sheet metal fabrication and precision TIG welding. Working as part of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, assembling, and finishing high-quality components to exacting standards.

The successful candidate will be a trade-qualified fabricator with strong TIG welding skills, experience working with brass and stainless steel, and the ability to operate sheet metal machinery confidently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform high-quality TIG welding on brass, stainless steel, and mild steel components.
n
- Complete MIG welding tasks as required.
n
- Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment including guillotines, folders, presses, punches, and related workshop machinery.
n
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
n
- Fabricate, assemble, and finish products to required quality standards.
n
- Use a range of workshop tools and equipment safely and effectively.
n
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work area.
n
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
n
- Contribute to a safe and productive workshop environment.

You are a skilled fabricator who takes pride in producing quality work. You have strong TIG welding capability, enjoy hands-on manufacturing, and have a keen eye for detail. You are reliable, organised, and understand the importance of maintaining high standards in both workmanship and workplace presentation.

- Proven TIG welding experience.

- MIG welding experience.
n
- Experience welding brass and stainless steel.
n
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
n
- Experience operating sheet metal fabrication machinery, including guillotines, folders, presses, punches, and related workshop equipment.
n
- Strong fabrication, assembly, and finishing skills.
n
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
n
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace.
n
- Positive attitude, reliability, and solid commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred

n

n
- Trade qualification in Sheet Metal Fabrication, Engineering Fabrication, or a related trade.
n
- Experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
n
- Experience producing custom-made or low-volume fabricated products.
