About The Role

n

As a Commis Chef, you'll support the kitchen team in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes across a variety of stations. From chopping and portioning to plating and presentation, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You'll work closely with senior chefs, follow recipes and standards, and maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Prepare ingredients including chopping, portioning, and storing food
n
- Cook and present dishes according to recipes and quality standards
n
- Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, grills, fryers, and microwaves
n
- Monitor food quality and test dishes for doneness
n
- Set up and break down workstations efficiently
n
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, tools, and equipment
n
- Follow food safety procedures and temperature checks
n
- Assist in preparing cold foods and mise-en-place for service
n
- Support the team during busy service periods
n




- Report maintenance issues, accidents, or unsafe conditions to management
n
- Uphold company policies, safety standards, and grooming expectations
n

About You

n

n
- At least 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen (preferred)
n
- Passionate about cooking and eager to learn new techniques
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
n
- Able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
n
- Physically fit and able to stand, lift, and move throughout shifts
n
- Explicit communicator with a positive attitude
n
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
n
