On behalf of our Client, a World Leader in the Oil & Gas Energy sector, Brunel is presently sourcing a Terminal Operator to play a key role in the safe, efficient and environmentally responsible operation of a busy terminal facility located in Western Sydney. This will be a casual contract due to commence in early October 2026.

This role is responsible for operating, maintaining and repairing site facilities in a safe, cost-effective and environmentally responsible manner. The successful candidate will contribute to site safety, security, environmental protection, quality processes and business controls in accordance with operational excellence principles.

- Manage contractor and driver safety, compliance and site inductions
n
- Act as the liaison between the Control Centre, TOU and site operations
n
- Coordinate inventory management and measurement activities with internal and third-party stakeholders
n
- Manage site-based projects and contractor works
n
- Witness meter proving activities and complete required documentation
n
- Support mechanical and operational maintenance activities
n
- Execute work permits and maintain operational records
n
- Identify maintenance and PDM improvement requirements
n
- Ensure all work complies with safety and regulatory standards
n

Profile
n
n
- Previous experience as a Terminal Operator is required
n
- Secondary / High School Diploma or college-level qualification
n
- Completion of assigned Stage 3 Training in accordance with GMT Standards
n
- High-level knowledge of measurement practices
n
- Strong understanding of product quality requirements
n
- Knowledge of applicable operational rules, regulations and standards
n
- Proficient in MS Excel and Word
n
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
n
- Demonstrated leadership capability
n
- Ability to work independently with moderate supervision
n
