HEERA CONSTRUCTION PTY LTD As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of building structures and fixtures. Working closely with the construction team, you will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while meeting project specifications and deadlines.

Responsibilities

- Construct, assemble, install, renovate, and repair timber, plywood, lightweight steel, plasterboard, and other building structures and fixtures.
n
- Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements and measurements.
n
- Measure, mark, cut, shape, and fit construction materials using hand and power tools with precision.
n
- Install wall frames, floor systems, roofing structures, doors, windows, staircases, partitions, and other structural components.
n
- Carry out repair and renovation work on existing buildings, ensuring structural integrity and quality finishes.
n
- Install interior and exterior fixtures, fittings, cladding, and finishing materials according to project specifications.
n
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
n
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
n
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organised condition.
n
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

n

n




- Relevant trade qualification in Carpentry or an equivalent qualification must be completed.
n
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience as a Carpenter.
n
- Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
n
- Ability to accurately read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
n
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
n
- Registration or licensing may be required.
n
