Mulline Vintners Pty Ltd (Mulline) was established in 2019 by Ben Mullen (Head of Winemaking & Viticulture) and Ben Hine (Head of Operations & Business). Mulline produces premium cool climate wines from the Geelong Region, Victoria.

After experiencing rapid growth and success, we are looking for an energetic and wine-passionate Cellar Door Manager to lead our hospitality offering, grow local sales, and help us tell the Mulline story online. You will be part of a tight-knit, ambitious team with a vibrant start-up culture and big plans for the future.

The Role

n

As Cellar Door Manager, you will be the face of Mulline for our visitors and local community. You will lead the cellar door experience, drive local area sales, and play a hands-on role in our social media presence — capturing content, engaging our audience, and growing our brand online.

This role works closely with the Head of Operations and the winemaking team, and is perfect for someone who loves wine, loves people, and wants to make a real impact in a growing business.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Assisting with design, establishment and fit out of cellar door on the Bellarine Peninsula
n
- Running the day-to-day cellar door operations and delivering outstanding tasting experiences
n
- Rostering, training and leading casual hospitality staff
n
- Designing, hosting and managing private tastings, group bookings and cellar door events
n
- Managing stock, POS and sales reporting
n

Local Area Sales

n

n




- Developing and executing a local sales strategy to build on Mulline's wholesale customer base
n
- Helping to build relationships with local restaurants, bottle shops, hotels and tourism operators
n
- Representing Mulline at events and trade tastings
n
- Identifying new sales opportunities and partnerships in the region
n

Social Media & Content

n

- Contributing to Mulline's social media strategy and content calendar
n
- Creating engaging content — photos, videos, captions
n
- Building and engaging with the Mulline online community
n
- Working with the winemaking team to bring the story behind our wines to life online
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Experience in cellar door, hospitality management, or wine retail
n
- A track record of driving local sales and building genuine customer relationships
n
- Confidence and creativity in creating social media content
n
- A genuine love of wine and the ability to share that passion with others
n
- Excellent people skills — you enjoy leading a team and engaging with visitors
n
- Strong organisation and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
n
- RSA certificate (or willingness to obtain)
n
