About the role

n

We're looking for a safety-focused, reliable MC Truck Driver to join our close-knit Altona North depot team on a full-time, permanent basis. You'll handle the safe, accurate and timely delivery of pipe and fittings across Victoria and interstate.

Most weeks are local or regional. Around three times a month you'll run interstate, including overnight legs through NSW and into regional Queensland, so you'll need to be comfortable being away from home on those occasions.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their equipment, works safely, and represents the business professionally on site. From time to time you'll also lend a hand with yard and dispatch duties, the same way any close team pitches in when it's needed.

What you'll be doing

n

n




- Operate MC vehicles safely and in line with transport regulations and Chain of Responsibility obligations
n
- Complete local, regional and interstate deliveries, including overnight runs as required
n
- Load, restrain, transport and unload long and oversized pipe
n
- Complete delivery paperwork and electronic systems accurately
n
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and report issues promptly
n
- Maintain truck cleanliness and presentation
n
- Assist with yard and dispatch duties as required
n

What you'll bring

n

n
- Current MC Licence and Forklift Licence (both essential)
n
- Solid experience in heavy vehicle delivery or freight, ideally with long or oversized loads
n
- Strong knowledge of load restraint, fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility compliance
n
- A steady, dependable approach and sound judgement under pressure
n
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability and customer service
n
- Comfort with delivery paperwork and mobile apps
n
- Willingness to complete interstate overnight runs, roughly three times a month
n
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency without restrictions
n
- A national police check and medical clearance will be required for this role
